Hello, my name is Joseph Wade. For the past few years, I have had the opportunity to work in the world of sports media. I have over three years of expereince as a digital content creator, and I am looking to grow the game of baseball through a creative and innovative perspective. My portfolio is comprised of various graphic designs, photography collections, and short-form video content.
I’m currently seeking job opportunities within the Sports Marketing and Media industries.
I have found my time as the Head Creative Content Coordinator to be very valuable in my personal development. For my Senior Integrated Project, I conductied a detailed analysis of the results the Kalamazoo College Baseball social media accounts have produced since September 2021.
This digital portfolio categorizes the different types of content that I have created for the viewers of Kalamazoo College Baseball social media pages. A text-laden draft simply won’t be insightful enough, as the creative nature of social media is difficult to describe by solely using words.
Some of the segments that were displayed on the Kalamazoo College Baseball social media pages will be listed below, along with a brief description.
#FlashbackFriday (2021-2022)
Flashback Friday was one of the first segments I worked on as a Creative Content Coordinator. This segment was created to honor the success former players and coaches of Kalamazoo College Baseball saw during their time in the program.
Meet the Roster (2022)
Meet the Roster was a segment that introduced the 2022 Kalamazoo College Baseball Team. Not only did this segment introduce the players, but it also generated exposure for these players, since their social media accounts were tagged to their Meet the Roster virtual baseball card.
Walk-Off Wednesday was a unique segment, as it is one of the few segments that allows the viewer of the given post to relive a critical moment of the 2022 season.
This segment featured a few 1-2 minute videos of each Walk-Off win for Kalamazoo College Baseball. This segment gained tons of traction and curated excitement for the following season.
I hope that my Senior Integrated Project can act as a guide for those looking to build a brand and/or social media account. This portfolio intends to guide those looking for inspiration to boost their social media accounts, along with providing a deeper explanation of the various features that Facebook, X, and Instagram have and how they can enhance the results of a given post along with how said features function.
